Group Biography

 Erika Nordquist
I currently study Chemical Engineering at Drexel University. I was born in Abington, Pennsylvania but grew up in Quakertown, Pennsylvania. I am extremely close with my family, and they support me with everything I strive to do. I hope to one day work in the solar industry, in order to make the world a cleaner and more efficient place. I believe that solar energy is the future and can really help the world with energy consumption.






Jonathan Antal
I was born in Doylestown, Pennsylvania where I grew up. I played baseball at Central Bucks West High School; where I graduated. I came to Drexel University for their well-known Engineering program, to pursue Chemical Engineering. I want to work with clean energy to find a better source of sustainable energy than gas and oil. 











 Nicholas Savino
I study Mechanical Engineering at Drexel University. I was born in Landing, New Jersey. I went to Roxbury High School in Northern New Jersey where I wrestled and earned my Eagle Scout Award. I came to Drexel for their engineering program, like Jack, but also liked the cutting edge lab spaces available to undergrads at Drexel. I study Mechanical Engineering to work in the field of renewable energy and help the energy industry progress forward.









    Jacqueline Muscella
I was born in Voorhees, New Jersey, right outside of Philadelphia.  I attended Eastern High School and now am studying Chemical Engineering at Drexel University.  After I graduate I hope to attend graduate school to get a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering.  I hope to be able to do more research as an undergrad and graduate in solar energy and help grow the solar industry.








 Jason Baxter
Jason Baxter is a Chemical Engineering professor at Drexel University, he received his Bachelors degree at the University of Delaware in 2000, his PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of California at Santa Barbara in 2005, and he served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Yale University from 2005-2007. His research is based on solar cells and he is currently the adviser for Engineering 103 Freshman Photo-voltaic Water Splitting design projects.
